Greeters need to arrive no later than 11:30am. The outside greeter greets in the front lobby. When a guest arrives, introduce yourself, ask them who they are, who invited them and what they do (this determines if we have a conflict, ie, if a photographer comes for lunch). Then direct them to our room in back. The inside greeter is to introduce themselves, welcome the guest, help them sign in and get a name badge. Lunch is $15 payable by cash, check or credit card. Also, show them to a seat and how to order lunch. Failure to greet or being late to greet has a $10 fine and will be charged to your account quarterly!
Showboaters have 30 seconds-1 minute to present your commercial. They have a showboating table to set up a display and/or pamphlets. Before and after the meeting you can stand by your display and answer questions that people might have for you. Failure to showboat or being late to showboat has a $10 fine and will be charged to your account quarterly!
Speakers have 5 minutes to explain in detail what their product or service is. This is a very important opportunity to educate us in more
detail about what it is that you do. This will help you generate more tips and leads. It is encouraged that you bring in a display or pamphlet. Failure to speak or being late to speak has a $10 fine and will be charged to your account quarterly!
If you have a conflict on a week that you are scheduled for greeter, speaker or showboater, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. Sending out an email does not qualify as finding a replacement unless you follow the email through until someone has committed to replacing you. Failure to find a replacement is a $10 fine if you do not show up yourself.
